How to set up Yahoo email on your android phone

Yes! I bought new Android phone for me. I was setting up all the mail accounts. While setting an account for the Yahoomail, i was getting many errors. After lots of search i found one way to set it up.

Do the following to set an Yahoo account on any Android phone.

 Go to mail icon

- Add account

- Enter email address in email address filed (name@yahoo.com)


- Enter password at password field

- Select MANUAL SETUP not next

- Select IMAP

* username= [Only registered members can see links. ]

* password = yourpassword

* IMAP server= imap.mail.yahoo.com

* port = 143

* security = none

* optional = blank

- Select NEXT

That's it.
