Buffer YouTube Videos Completely Before Playing
Youtube is one of the mostly used online site to view videos. Many people refer this site to view all types of videos. You get to see all king of videos related to news, entertainment, games, tips and tricks and many many more. But you will love to see those videos without any interruption. What I am targeting here is the buffering. If the video is too long, it takes more time to buffer. Ofcourse, this also depends on your internet speed. Many of us hates, to see the video in parts. Like it plays for a few seconds and then starts buffering for which you again have to wait. I always get frustrated when this happens.
Therefore, to overcome this issue, I came across an extension "YouTube Center". YouTube Center is an user-script designed to expand the functionality of YouTube. It includes the ability to download the video you're watching, auto selecting your preferred video quality and much more.
1. Download and install YouTube Center from here.
2. Once you install YouTube Options, you will see a settings option right next to the ‘Sign In’ button on YouTube.
3. Click on that and you will see the options like YouTube video playback, layout, and more.
Note: Currently, we will be concentrating more on the Playback, so switch over to that tab for a second and disable ‘Dash Playback’.
4. Now, when you start streaming a YouTube video, it will continue buffering all the way even if you pause the video at the start.
This way, you can wait for a bit until the video gets completely buffer and then you can view the video without any disturbance.
This extension is available for Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Maxthon browsers. Since it hasn't been released on the Chrome Web Store yet, you will need to enable developer mode from Tools > Extensions, download the CRX file from the official GitHub page linked below, and drop it on the Extensions page for installation.
