Manage Your Xiaomi Mi2, Mi3, Mi4 and RedMi 1 with Xiaomi Tool
The Xiaomi Tool is a handy application for Xiaomi smartphone users that lets them manage various things on their Xiaomi Mi2, Mi3, Mi4 and RedMi 1 devices, such as backup and restore data, unlock bootloader, install custom recovery, get root, flash zip files, install apps, wipe data, record screen and more.
Available for Windows, Mac and Linux, the Xiaomi Tool is an open source project and brings a safe, fast and a user friendly interface to manage your Xiaomi smartphone. Currently this application does not support all Xiaomi devices. The supported devices are Xiaomi Mi2(s), Mi3W, Mi4W, and Xiaomi RedMi 1S.

- Windows: Adb and Fastboot (placed on %PATH%)
- Unix / Linux: Adb and Fastboot, need to execute some commands with SUDO, so an user-password is needed, do not execute as root
Installation:
Windows
- Download the Zip file
- Extract the folder
- Make sure ADB and Fastboot are working well on your device and they're both on a %PATH% (C:WindowsSystem32 for example) folder
- Run XiaomiTool.exe and enjoy
Linux:
- Download the zip file
- Extract everything in a folder
- chmod +x XiaomiTool or run sh XiaomiTool (The one on the main dir)
- Insert your password when asked (see here why it's needed)
- Download the zip file
- Extract the folder
- chmod +x Start.sh
- Execute Start ( ./Start.sh )
- If something goes wrong make sure you can execute adb and fastboot without root access, if not run sudo ./Start
