Download Adblock Plus Browser For Android Smartphones

Advertising can sometime be more annoying than any other things. There are thousands plus apps which carries this ads with them and irritates users. By you mistakenly click on them you are automatically redirected to the browser page. Sometimes you even get charge for it. We all know an application name AdBlock that we use for desktop machines or laptops. Adblock Plus is one of the most popular desktop browser extensions, but so far it hasn't had a real presence on mobile.

But that was the things till some days back. AdBlock has came up with Adblock Browser, an Android browser that blocks ads by default. The app is built off of Firefox's open-source Android browser, so you know more or less what to expect if you've used that before.

Adblock Plus for Android is an Android app that runs in the background and filters ads, using the same filter lists as the Adblock Plus browser extensions. It works on Android version 2.3 and higher.

ABP announced the new effort on Wednesday with an open beta that anyone can join. Unfortunately it’s not exactly a hassle-free process, and at this writing the browser was still awaiting approval from Google before appearing in the Play Store.

When it does show up, you can get in on the beta by joining the ABP Browser Google+ community. Once you've joined Adblock Plus' Google+ community page, you'll be able to download the APK. You may need to disable some of Android's security checks to install it, but you're basically good to go from there.

In the meantime, ABP is allowing you to download the browser directly from its site via a QR code posted to Google+. Your Android device will have to allow third-party app installs (found in Android's security settings) before you can get the non-Play version of the browser to work.

Cheers!!!
