Samsung Galaxy On8 With 5.5-Inch Full-HD Display Now Available in India
Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy On8 smartphone on Flipkart. Samsung has been teasing the device on ecommerce portal for sometime now. Samsung Galaxy On8 will be available starting from the big billion day sales celebrations. Flipkart’s big billion day celebrations start from October 2 at 23:59 hours. Samsung Galaxy On8 features a design very similar to the one seen on 2016 J series.
The new Samsung Galaxy On8 is exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs. 15,900, but as a part of promotional Big Billion Days sale, consumers can grab it for Rs. 14,900 with free 32GB Samsung micro SD card. SBI credit/debit card holders can also avail an additional 10 percent cash discount.
To further sweeten the deal, Flipkart is offering an exchange deal where buyers can trade-in their old device for the On8 and get discounts up to Rs.13,000. Considering the features of the Galaxy On8, this is an irresistible and cost-effective deal.
The biggest highlight of the Samsung Galaxy On8 is its 5.5-inch full-HD Super Amoled display that was being teased ahead of its launch. The smartphone packs metal body and Samsung claims it features diamond cut metal frames. The Galaxy On8 will also come with features like UDS (Ultra Data Saving) mode and S bike mode as part of the company's "Make for India" initiatives.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Galaxy On8 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset packs 16GB inbuilt storage and comes with expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The 4G-enabled Galaxy On8 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash on board as well.
