Lenovo Phab 2 With 4050mAh Battery Launched in India at Rs 11,999
Just over a month after launching the PHAB 2 Plus in India, Lenovo today launched the PHAB 2. The phablet with 6.4-inch display will be available in the Indian market starting Friday and will be come in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold colours. Company has quoted the price of Rs 11,999, and it will go on sale from December 9 exclusively via Flipkart. The PHAB 2 was originally unveiled at the company’s Tech World Conference earlier this year.
The phablet not only supports Dolby ATMOS, but also comes with support for Dolby audio capture 5.1. The company also says that with 360-degree noise cancellation, conference calls and voice recording are tailored for maximum clarity.
Along with the 6.4-inch HD display and 4050mAh battery, the new Lenovo Phab 2 has a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Phab 2 packs 32GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via microSD card (up to 128GB).
For imaging, Lenovo Phab 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF while there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an 85-degree wide-angle lens. Lenovo has also claimed that the Phab 2 comes with augmented reality (AR) effects in camera app. The handset comes with 3 mics to record audio and also supports noise cancellation.
Lenovo Phab 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot (both Micro-SIMs). The Phab 2 smartphone measures 175x88.5x9.6mm, and weighs 225 grams.
Connectivity options of Lenovo Phab 2 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS support. It packs a massive 4050mAh battery, and was launched in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colour options.
