Oppo N1 Launched With Rotating Camera For 39,999 INR

We have sen many changes in the recent smartphone, right from the looks to display and to various other options. One such example is the latest LG G Flex Curved mobile which was launched at the price of 69,999 INR. Since its the first smartphone with curved design, the reaction from the people is to come. Similarly, the Chinese mobile manufacturing company came with an un-usual concept of rotating camera in the mobile.

Chinese handset maker Oppo has launched Oppo N1 in the Indian market at Rs 39,999. The launch marks the entry of the brand in Indian smartphone market. The most interesting part of this smartphone is its swiveling  13 MP camera. Since, it has a rotating camera, it can also be used as front camera with the same 13 MP. This same feature is also available in the Gionee Elife E7 mini had a similar design.

Oppo N1 sports a large 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display. Powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM, the smartphone runs a highly customized version of Android 4.2 (Color ROM). It sports a 13MP camera placed on a rotating swivel capable of rotating 206 degree with a dual-LED flash.

The smartphone is backed by a 3610mAh battery and comes in 16 and 32GB storage variants. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and DLNA.

There is also an accessory device called O-click, which needs to be mentioned here. Oppo has stressed that this is a new invention. We weren't able to use it, but according to Oppo, it can be paired to your N1 using Bluetooth and then used to take pictures remotely. The O-click fits on your keychain and works at up to 15 meters away, or so the company claims. Additionally it can help you find your phone if it is connected and within range.

Thought Gionee Elife E7 has the same features it would be great to see how this Opp N1 smartphone works in the Indian market. Overall, our first impressions of the Oppo N1 are positive. It seems like it can a good competition to brands like Sony and Samsung along with middle level brands like Micromax and Karbonn.

Cheers!!!
