Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo a.k.a Lite Launched: Specification & Features
Samsung has always gave the second version of most of its well known smartphone. After the great success of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung came up with the Galaxy Note 3 Neo phablet. Galaxy Note 3 Neo is also known Galaxy Note 3 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, available in 3 different colors and two variants (LTE and 3G), will be launched (globally) in February 2014.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo (aka Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite) features a massive 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution, HD resolution and pixel density of ~265 ppi. t has Samsung TouchWiz UI and the screen supports multitouch. The Screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. This phone also includes the Note 3 like S-Pen Stylus and has the Faux leather finish on the back like in Note 3. The display is equipped with useful features such as accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, humidity sensor, IR gesture, proximity sensor etc.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo runs Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS, and is upgradeable to future releases. The Note 3 Neo will be available in LTE+ and 3G variants. The 3G version will be using the 1.6GHz quad core processor and the LTE will house a Hexa Core (6 core) processor i.e. 1.3GHz quad core + 1.7GHz dual core processor. The RAM is reduced to 2GB but still this could keep up performance. Note 3 Neo is to run on Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean out of the Box. The Chipset is Samsung’s own Hexa-core Exynos Chip.
The device can play media formats like MP3, WAV, WMA, eAAC+ (audio) and MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV (video). The handset is available in black and white colors. Since it belongs to the Note series, it comes with an intuitive stylus.

The 8MP rear camera comes equipped with LED flash and features like autofocus, digital image stabilization, face detection, digital zoom etc plus another camera of 2MP on the front. It has ability to capture HD video and image at the same time. It can record 1080p quality HD videos at 30fps.
The internal storage capacity of Galaxy Note 3 Neo is 16GB. Users can add up to 64GB of microSD on its external storage. Other features are Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, infrared and GPS with GLONASS. SM-N750 will be with 3G support and model numberSM-N705 will support LTE+. Handset weight is around 162 grams and is 8.6mm thick. The Li-ion battery is 3100 mAh capacity. And yes the S-Pen Stylus is also included.
