Install HTC BlinkFeed on Other Android Phones Without Rooting

There are some mobiles which are known for their unique features. We have already seen a post related to it. You all now about HTC One. There is one feature of HTC One which is not found in any other mobile. Its BlinkFeed. BlinkFeed is a unique feature of HTC One smartphone. It brings your favorite content from newsfeeds and social media pages to your phone’s home screen. Now you can install BlinkFeed on any of your Android phone and enjoy real-time updates from newsfeeds and social media right on the home screen.

Very thanks to the XDA member Gakugaku who ported out the BlinkFeed app that works on any  Android mobile running latest Kitkat 4.4 OD. The best thing is that it requires no root permission. If you want a different interface for your phone try HTC BlinkFeed app.

Lets see how to install it:

1. Download Htc_BlinkFeed_v11.zip package on your computer from here and extract it using any zip archive.

2. You will get four files: hsp.apk, Prismagenta.apk, Twitter.apk, Weather.apk. Transfer these files to your phone’s memory card.

3. Install all the four apk files as normal apk using any file explorer.

4. To launch BlinkFeed launcher, press the home button and choose it from the options. That’s it!
