Google Launches Nexus 5X, 6P In India: Specs, Price And Availability

Some days back we have seen a post where Google has launched new new smartphones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6S. Both this phones were the most awaited smartphones. After all it was Google was was planning a big launch for it. The smartphone was launched internationally and now the new Nexus smartphones come to India in less than a month. Google has partnered with LG and Huawei to make the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones, respectively.

We have already discussed the specs and features in our previous post. But still here is a short intro of all the specs and features about the all-new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P:

Display:

• Nexus 5X: 5.2-inch screen with Full HD (1080x1920p) resolution

• Nexus 6P: 5.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution

Camera:

• Nexus 5X: 12.3MP rear camera (1.55micron sensor which captures more light); it can shoot high-resolution 4K videos as well 120fps videos. The smartphone features 5MP front camera.

• Nexus 6P: 12.3MP rear camera (1.55micron sensor which captures more light, thus delivering better low-light photos) that supports 4K recording and can capture videos at 240 fps. The smartphone comes with an 8MP front camera.

Hardware:

• Nexus 5X: The smartphone runs on 64-bit Snapdragon 808 processor with 2GB RAM. The storage capacities of the smartphone are 16GB and 32GB, with no microSD card support and is supported by a 2,700mAh battery.

• Nexus 6P: The smartphone is reportedly powered by Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and comes in three storage variants: 32, 64 and 128GB; there is no support for storage expansion. The phone packs 3,450mAh battery.

Software:
Both Nexus smartphones will come with the latest Android version Marshamallow 6.0

Price:

• Nexus 5X: The smartphone be available at Rs 31,990 and Rs 35,990 for the 16GB and 32GB variants, respectively.

• Nexus 6P: The Nexus 6P is priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 42,999 for the 32GB and 64GB versions, respectively.

Availability:

• Nexus 5X: Prebooking of the Nexus 5X smartphone will start today (October 12) and the phone will be available starting October 21. The 16GB version will be available online exclusively on Amazon.

• Nexus 6P: Prebooking of the Nexus 6P starts today (October 12) with wider availability commencing later. The phone will be available online exclusively on Flipkart.

Additional Features
Both the smartphones sport the reversible Type C USB and support fast-charging. They are the first Nexus phones to feature fingerprint sensor. Built right into Android, Nexus Imprint, can recognize fingerprints in less than 600 milliseconds.

Freebies:

• Nexus 5X: For those who pre-book the Nexus 5X smartphone, LG is offering bluetooth headset worth Rs 2,500, free screen replacement worth Rs 6,500, Cashback worth Rs 3,500 on HDFC debit/credit cards

• Nexus 6P: Those who pre-book Nexus 6P, Huawei is offering free chromecast worth Rs 2,999 or bluetooth speaker worth Rs 2,495. The company is also offering EMI options and 100% cashback on interest charges.

Some things are changed and are getting few goodies. But still don't know why people should think of buying this smartphone that too in this price. But lets see what else we have in store and what people think of it.
