List of Devices to Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
As we know that Google ha already starting rolling out the latest version of Android, 6.0 Marshmallow. As a tradition Google will pre-install it on new Nexus devices - the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P - and push out an update for previous generation Nexus phones and tablets first. So now the question comes to your mind, when will my smartphone get the 6.0 Marshmallow update? Even i have the question.
Just to give you a small updates, Android Marshmallow features include a promised 30 percent average increase in standby battery life and new privacy and permissions controls that let users deny apps access to specific features. Google Now on Tap, which pops up extra information about anything a user reads, listens to or writes, can also be activated by pressing and holding the home button.
So here are all the Android phones that have been confirmed to get Marshmallow so far, along with some phones that haven’t yet been confirmed by are almost guaranteed to get the newest software. The updates are searched on the internet so there can be chances in the list.
Google Nexus Devices:
Motorola has listed the devices which will be getting Android 6.0, but hasn’t mentioned the time frame for the update.
HTC has confirmed that the below list of devices will be getting the update before the end of this year and few devices will be getting it early 2016.
While there is no confirmation from Samsung on the devices getting this update, we expect Samsung to release it for most of their high end phones including.
Sony has also listed the devices getting this latest update, but there is no mention on the time.
There is no confirmation from LG, but we expect the flagships to get the Android 6.0 update.
