Asus Launches Upgraded Zenfone 2 Laser Variant at Rs 17,999
Asus has launched a new variant of its Zenfone 2 Laser camera-focussed smartphone featuring a 6-inch display and Snapdragon 616 processor. The new Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE601KL model is priced at Rs 17,999 and will be available offline as well as on Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. The handset will be also available from offline channels from the second week of December. The Asus ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) will come in three colours Red, Silver, and Gold.
The ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) supports dual-SIM dual standby and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop-based ZenUI. It features a 6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and sports scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The handset is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (MSM8939) coupled with 3GB of RAM. The ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) packs 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. The smartphone also supports Indian 4G LTE bands. The company touts that the ZenFone 2 Laser supports download speeds up to 150Mbps.
It measures 164.5x84x10.5mm and weighs 190 grams. The handset is backed by a 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery. It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front camera as well. It comes with an accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity light, and ambient light.
