Apple's iPhone SE and iPod Pro 9.7" Now Oficially Available in India
Apple has launched iPhone SE smartphone globally in last month. But after that there has been lot of debates and discussion on is it worth a buy or not. Everyone has different opinion. But all this doesn't stopped the company to launch it in India. Apple's latest iPhone and iPad -- iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro -- have officially launched in the country. The iPhone SE and the new iPad Pro are available through the company's online and offline retail partners in the country.
Apple's new smaller iPhone - the iPhone SE and along with the smaller 9.7-inch variant of the iPad Pro go on sale in India from April 8. While the iPhone SE prices in India start at Rs 39,000, the base variant of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 49,900. Both devices were unveiled at an Apple event on March 21.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro on the other hand is available in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants, in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+Cellular models. As for Wi-Fi only, the 32GB model is priced at Rs. 49,900, the 128GB model at Rs. 61,900, and the 256GB model at Rs. 73,900.
The Wi-Fi+Cellular models have been priced at Rs. 61,900 for the 32GB model, Rs. 73,900 for the 128GB model, and Rs. 85,900 for the 256GB model.
Apple iPhone SE comes with 4-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. It is powered by Apple A9 chipset with M9 motion co-processor. Other specifications of the device are 12MP rear camera, 1,2MP front camera and Touch ID. It runs the updated iOS 9.3 operating system. It will be available in Silver, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold colours. The smartphone will be available in the country in April.
The company's all-new iPad Pro sports a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536p and pixel density of 264ppi and is 25% brighter than the screen of iPad Air 2. The latest iPad features a new True Tone technology that tracks brightness and ambient light temperature to make the screen more eye-friendly under varying lighting condition.
