RTA m-Wallet App to Digitally Store Your RC, Driving License & Vehicle Docs - How to Use it?

Telangana Government has launched an app which stores the data about the road transport department. This application is a perfect Digital wallet to store all the documents issued by the transport department. Government launched Telangana RTA M Wallet application on the part of digital Telangana. By using these application vehicle owners need not carry their documents license, road transport, vehicle insurance and other documents. If any RTA officers asked for verification means its enough to show the M Wallet app.

What is this RTA m-Wallet?
M wallet is a mobile application developed for the Transport Department of the Govt. of Telangana. This application will be used for showing digital documents like license, insurance, road transport etc. This app automatically fetches documents and store it in your details. You can also add multiple vehicles details if owned by a single person. The documents once downloaded will be saved for future use on the application.

This is an very clever initiative by the Telangana Govt. Instead of carrying multiple documents its will be good to carry only one such app. Also there is no problem of getting the documents misplaced or damaged.

How to register vehicle details:

1. Go to PlayStore and download the app from this link,

2. Open the app and give details like Name, Email and Mobile Number and click on the Register button.

3. You will be sent an OTP on your number provided. Enter that number in the OTP section and click on the Submit button.

4. You will find two options RC and driving licence.

• If you want the RC i.e, Registration Certificate in your wallet then you need to enter the details of the registration number of your vehicle along with the last five digits of the Chasis Number of you vehicle which you can find that on your printed RC. Once you enter the details of your RC tap on the Get Button.

• If you want to add the Driving license, then you need to enter you Driving License Number, Date of Birth and prescribed RTA details which you can find on the back side of your license and tap on the GET button.

All the documents will be fetched automatically. This way you can get the details of all your vehicle and can also add the license details of your family members. The only thing that you need to remember is that this app can be accepted only in Telangana. You will need to carry physical documents If you are planning a travel to other state or outside Telangana.
