Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Launched: Specs, Price & Availability
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has been launched in India at Rs 14,999. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is the successor of the original Phab Plus device that comes with an AR (Augmented Reality) mode in its camera app. Lenovo has already revealed that the phablet will be an Amazon India exclusive and will go on sale today after 1 pm in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colours.
The main USP of the Lenovo PHAB 2 Plus is the dual-camera setup at the back. The setup includes a pair of 13-megapixel f/2.0 aperture snappers at the back supported by laser auto-focus, PDAF support, and Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs. The dual-cameras let you click a photo and then superimpose the subject on any background of your choice.
The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) Lenovo Phab 2 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's Vibe UI skin on top, and is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8783 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
Another feature is the ability to change the focus of the photo after you have clicked it. For selfie lovers, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels. The pixel size 1.4um and it has F/2.0. The camera has a manual mode for those who want to tinker with the settings, and a separate dual rear camera mode where the user has an option of changing focus and swapping background, etc.
Another highlight of the Phab 2 Plus is its large 6.4-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, and the 4050mAh battery. The smartphone also bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, and supports 4G VoLTE in India.

The slot is a hybrid one), 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro-USB port. On the software front, the device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box.
