Remotely Sign Out From Skype
You must have heard in the news or on the Internet how bad it can happen if you forgot to sign-out from any of your social media account. No mater where you are, please remember to logout from Facebook or Skype or Twitter or any such social media account when you are not using it, specially when you are at home or office or any cyber cafe.
While searching on Internet I came across a post which lets you sign-out from your Skype account, remotely. The same holds true for Gmail but this is a feature few services offer. If you have left your Skype account signed in on a public computer, or a phone that is no longer in your possession, you’re likely looking for a way to end the session remotely. Skype has a simple little command that does the trick.
Image that you have left your Skype signed in on a system or a device that you no longer have access to, and also that system is now not accessible not you. One situation in my office was, when we were provided desktop machines and took the laptop for some upgradations. Though we are not allowed to install third-party applications but Skype was something that we were using, for personal and office/client use. When the machines were replaced, one of my colleague came to know that her Skype account was not logged off and it used to start whenever the laptop reboots. The password was saved, which should never be done.
Therefore, in such situation, the quickest and easiest way to end the session is to send the following command over any conversation. The command will not be visible to other people in the conversation.
I personally tried it and it worked. It displays all the devices that your account is active on. But don't trust this command completely. Even when you are signed out from the session, sometimes it is still displayed in the result.
Cheers!!!

/remotelogoutThis will help you logout from all the Skype session from your work system, or your iPhone or Android device. If you’re not certain you’ve left Skype signed in, there’s an easy way to check how many active Skype sessions you currently have.
/ showplacesIn case, if you are not aware where you have your active sessions, then you can use the the following commend to see how many active Skype sessions you have. Same as previous command, this will also not be visible to other people in the conversation.
