Idea to Offer Free 1GB 4G Data Per Day For a Month For Postpaid Users
In a bid to take on Reliance Jio, Idea Cellular on Friday announced a new plan for postpaid subscribers, offering 1GB data per day, for a month, on 4G-compatible phones. "The new Idea pack can be availed by all postpaid customers on limited rental plans of Rs 199 and above," the company said in a statement.

The 1GB data per day, for a month plan - that's worth Rs 300 according to Idea - will be offered for free to all postpaid subscribers on rental plans of Rs 499 and above. Subscribers, who are meanwhile, on base rental plans of Rs 349 to Rs 498 can avail the offer at a discounted price of Rs 50, the company informed. All postpaid subscribers on rental plans of Rs 149 to Rs 349 will also be eligible for a Rs 100 discount under the new scheme.
After three months, all customers eligible for the scheme will have to pay extra Rs 300 for continuing the benefit till March 2018. The monthly rental pack will be valid till March 31, 2018 The data benefit of 1GB/ day is available on 4G handsets only, and 3GB/ month is given to non-4G handset users.
Not only Idea, but many other services has lower their rates in different ways. Some are really good while some of them have different way to provide free data to customer. But we, as a customer has to pay extra for 1GB/day data plan. Still after going through this plan, its clear that Jio offer is still the best. Just pay 303 for a month and get 1GB/day without any extra cost like this Idea is providing.
