Lenovo K900: Specification & Price
Lenovo is very much well known for PC's in India. But now it seems like the company wants to make a mark in the smartphone markets too. Lenovo had announced its flagship device K900 in January but now its officially available in the Indian market. The phone, which comes with pretty solid specifications, is priced decently in the Indian market.
Talking about this phone, it runs on the latest Android version Jelly Bean 4.2.2 out of the box. This phablet comes with 5.5 inch of display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which means a pixel density of about 400 ppi. It seems that the colors are very well and the viewing angles will great. Also the phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 2.
The K900 is just 6.9 mm thin and has a stainless steel and poly-carbonate uni-body construction that can feels good in the hand and weighs only 162 g. The K900 brings support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standards and comes with support for Wi-Fi hotspot as well. With the help of the Intel processor, users can make use of the Wireless Display (WiDi) to share content on a second screen on the same Wi-Fi network.
Lenovo K900 is equipped with Intel’s Atom Z2580 dual-core processor along with the 2GHz processor. the K900 has Intel’s GMA graphics processor clocked at 533Mhz. Along with it, the phone has 2GB of RAM which helps in keeping the phone running lag-free.
The K900 has a Sony-supplied 13 MP rear camera with the Japanese company’s Exmor BSI Sensor and 2 MP fron-facing camera. In addition, the lens on the rear camera has an f/1.8 aperture, which helps in capturing a lot more light and detail. Also, low-light shots are helped by the presence of a dual-LED flash.
Lenovo has included a 2500 mAh battery pack in the K900. The company has quoted a talk time of 15 hours on 2G networks and 12 hours on 3G, along with 300 hours of standby time. Talking about the price, the phone has quoted a price of 32,999 in the Indian market which seems like a competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
