Get Tabs In Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 & 2013
The most common feature in the browsers are the tabs. This adds convenience to the internet experience. The browsers gets updated with something new that gives a good experience to users. Same is the case with Office. When Office 2013 was rolled out, many changes were made according the user ease. But there is one thing that never been updated in the Office versions.
I wanted that there should be tabs available in any of the office product. But this feature has never been updated in any of the Office versions. But one application name as, Office Tabs, helps us to add tabs in office products like, Word, Excel or PowerPoint. This application works with Office 2007, 2010 and 2013. Each versions has some limitations and ofcourse cost.
Lets see how this application works:
I will trying it on Windows 7 for Office 2010 which is free version. The free version works with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but sadly is not compatible with Office 2013. The standard version does work with the latest Microsoft suite, but will cost $25.00. Meanwhile, the Enterprise version cost $35.00.
1. Download and install Office Tabs from here.
2. Once you run the application, you will be provided with lots of options that you can customize.
3. Here your can customize options for Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Since its a free version, you get tabs for only this 3 office application).
Note: You can customize Word, Excel and PowerPoint separately on the options screen.
4. Style and Color allows for the tweaking of the looks of your tabs. There is a tab style drop-down menu that lists options in the un-imaginary one through six format.
Note: Changes are displayed below in the preview.
5. There are also options to change tab size, font and even color, though the latter offers only a few pre-set options and no ability to customize to your own choice of shade.
6. Once you are done with your changes, you can export it to some location and also can import when needed, by clicking on the Backup button.
7. Click on OK and restart your office applications.
That's it. Now open your Office applications and enjoy the tabs feature and amaze other.
