Motorola’s Moto 360 Android Wear Smartwatch

Very soon smartphones will be an old saying and what the world will have is Smartwatch. The technology is changing so fast, that very soon there will be smartphone or smartwatch or any such gadget. All you will be having a small chip inserted in your body which will work similar to smartphones. Just an imagination of the future world :)

Talking about smartwatches, there are already some smartwatches in the market. Some known are Pebble smartwatch, Samsung Galaxy Gear and recently LG is in the race with its square shape smartwatch. Motorola is the latest to jump onto the wearable bandwagon with the launch of its first smartwatch, the Moto 360. The Moto 360 is Motorola's first Android Wear device, and one of only two flagship Android Wear products so far (the other is the LG G Watch, which we know far less about). So, lets see what makes this Android wear so interesting and so eye catchy.

Unlike other smartwatch, this 360 has a round dial, something good to see than the square shape. This makes the watch more fashionable.

This is a water resistant watch. This is something that is expected from such smartwatch. But every water proof watch has a certain limit on water depth-ness. For this, its not yet unveil how much. But will soon come to know wehter its ok to swim with it or not. It works with any Android 4.3 phone. The round design is meant to appeal to both genders, and to be functional. Which makes it perfect for any person to use. Since it has a perfect round design taht fits perfectly on the wrist, it will suit on both the hands of male and female. After seeing the watch, the first thing that came into my mind was the band/belt. Usually i love to wear watch with steel bands. But this wont affect Moto 360. You can choose the band to either steel or leather.

This won't be the only round Android Wear watch. Android Wear has two standard screen shapes in its SDK: square, and round. Moto 360 adopts the round design that Google is already allowing for. That could mean other round watches, and soon. Big question, is it user friendly with left or right handed user? Yes, is the answer. The design allows for left- or right-hand use, but we don't know how yet. Its an assumption that the screen will flip depending on orientation. This watch comes without camera. According to Motorola, having a camera like the Samsung Gear 2 didn't mesh with the idea of the watch's contextual-information-gathering design. The watch will have one button that we can see, plus a touch screen and microphone. Also llike Moto X you will be able to talk with this phone.

According to Jim Wicks, you'll always be able to lift your wrist and see the time. Actually, on many current smartwatches, depending on what app you're in, that's not always the case. Talking about the battery, its not sure on how much time or day it will last but Motorola claims that battery life has been "made a priority." Motorola claims it's learned from its previous experience with its first watch MotoActv, and also Moto X.

I know many of you will be waiting for this phone. But you will have to wait till Summer. No confirm date has been announced, but is expected in late June. Also the price has not been disclosed yet.

Cheers!!!
