Root Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F (International Variant)

Samsung’s latest flagship in its Galaxy S line, the S5, is one of the hottest smartphones announced this year. Galaxy S5, the new high-end phone from Samsung and perhaps the most desirable handset of 2014 launched on 27th March but set to become available in April 2014. Whenever new phone is launched, the Android hacker start working on creating an app for rooting such app. This time XDA Senior Recognized Developer Chainfire has done it again, rooting the international variant of the Galaxy S5 before even its release, just has he has done multiple times in the past with the previous flagships phones.

Here is a simple guide on rooting the Galaxy S5 SM-G900F international variant using Chainfire’s popular CF-Auto-Root and ODIN tool. CF-Auto-Root is the easiest root method and it will keep as close to stock firmware as possible. We have already seen some post related to CF-Root, so if anyone who has already used CF-Auto-Root should have no trouble rooting their phone with this method, as all the steps are exactly the same. This root package will install the SuperSU binary and APK, as well as the stock recovery on your phone.
