Lenovo launches A7000 4G phone in India at Rs 8,999
Lenovo, the Chinese electronics giant, has finally announced the much awaited launch of the A7000 in India. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the latest 4G smartphone, the A7000, in India priced at Rs 8,999. Registrations for the first flash sale on April 15 via FlipKart will open at 2 pm on Tuesday (today) and is the first smartphone to have Dolby Atmos sound technology on board.
It may seem that the main rival for A7000 will be Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Micromax Yu Yureka.
Talking about the specification and other details, the A7000 has got a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280A—720 pixels resolution. It is powered with a 1.5-GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with an onboard storage of 8 GB and can be further expanded up to 32 GB. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, the A7000 is a dual-SIM smartphone.
The A7000 features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G/ LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB, just like its predecessor.
This smartphone is 7.9 mm thin and weighs 140 gram, viz., measures 152.6x76.2x7.99mm. The Lenovo A7000 is backed by a 2900mAh battery. It will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White colours.
Unlike the flash sale, that happened for Xiaomi and Yu Yureka, A7000 will have a 4-hour window to complete their transaction.
