Sony Xperia Z4: Release Date, Specs & Features
After lot of rumour and leaked specification, Sony has officially unveiled its next flagship smartphone, Xperia Z4. The news came as a surprise amidst the expectation that Sony's latest flagship would make its debut in September. By looking at the phone, it is clearly seen that the phone is launched with amazing range of never before heard features, gorgeous looks and more. Apart from that the state-of-the-art tech and cutting edge design, the Z4 is simply the pinnacle of Sony’s mobile power.
The phone is encased in an all metal frame with front and rear panels that have been cut out of single sheets of aluminum that are further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, on both surfaces. The phone also features a distinctive two-layering process that incorporates bits of resin along the corner for added durability. Its designers claim that the phone has been crafted in such a way that it will neither lose its sheen, nor the color of its bezel.
Xperia Z4 is also been certified for IPX5 or IPX8, which denotes waterproofing standards, as well as IP6X certifications, which denotes dustproof performance.
The revolutionary Xperia Z4 features a large 5.2 inch QHD LCD display that is the same size used in the older Z3. The Triluminos display screen supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The latest iteration of Sony’s Xperia series will be loaded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 64-bit octa-core processor.
The smartphone features 4 GB of RAM, Android’s Lollipop 5.0 operating system, and will come with 32 GB native memory a MicroSD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.

The Z4’s camera is also equipped with the company’s recently launched Exmor RS image sensor technology. The front camera, with its wide-angle lens, is the ideal camera to click perfect selfie shots.
The Z4’s camera also features an advanced blur correction function that is available in an intelligent motion detection technology. This ensures shake-free images as well as spectacular running, jumping and other quick-action shots.
