Lenovo P70 Launched with 4000mAh Battery at Rs. 15,999
After launching the world's cheapest 4G LTE smartphone named, Lenovo A600 at Rs. 6,999. Lenovo came up with new smartphone with 4G LTE mid range smartphone. The company has started taking pre-orders for P70 smartphone priced at Rs 15,999. Lenovo P70 is available for pre-orders on Lenovo Store and will start shipping April 14 onwards.
The phone will start shipping from April 14 in India.As mentioned above, the talkling point of the Lenovo P70 is the mammoth 4,000mAh battery. The company claims it is good enough for 18 hours of talktime and up to 696 hours on standby mode. Furthermore, it also comes with LTE support.
The Lenovo P70 is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) device which runs the recent Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU.
The Lenovo P70 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash while there is a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera also on board.
It measures 142x71.8x8.9mm, weighs 149 grams, and is listed in Midnight Blue colour. The Lenovo P70 packs an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The company also touts the Quick Charge feature of the Lenovo P70 that allows it get fully charged in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time.
Apart from the 4G LTE, the Lenovo P70 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
