4. Knots:
There’s no reason why a game can’t be both fun and challenging. This is shown by a mobile game that can also be a rather tense brain teaser. The game involves connecting dots by colored lines without going over another color line to get them to meet. The game is simple at first, but once you get to level four hundred, you’ll find solving the puzzle can take hours. Of course, there are hints that you can collect each day which will give you a little boost. There’s also a leader board for the faster players. Although, we wouldn’t recommend spending too much time looking at it. You might find it a tad depressing when a level you’ve been stuck on for days has been completed in seconds.

3. Super Mario Run:
When Nintendo announced that they were going to start making mobile games, there was a lot of excitement. Naturally, most people assumed their first game would be Pokemon, and we’ll get to that a little further down this list. Actually, Nintendo’s first mobile developed game was Super Mario Run. It was released at the end of last year and is already a massive hit. Although the price puts us off a little, there’s no denying that this game is a lot of fun. Using the same gaming dynamic that has been initiated in countless portable titles over the years, you can play with your favorite Italian plumber in a brand new way. Although, there is certainly room for improvement it’s a great start for Nintendo’s mobile library.

2. Clash of Clans:
A classic choice this one Clash of Clans is perfect for anyone addicted to battle strategy games. While there are plenty of games like Clash of Clans none, have the imagination or characters that this little game holds. The armies that you can play with are fun, addictive and you’ll be able to create brilliant, engaging battles on your phone. If you’ve never played this title, you might want to give it a go. Be warned, though, you can easily spend hours playing without realizing any time has passed.

1. Pokemon Go:
Still at the top of the list in 2017 is Pokemon Go. Some people claim the fad is dying now, but with Gold and Silver Pokemon just around the corner, we’re sure it’s going to heat up again. In fact, we think once the warms people will be back out collecting those pocket monsters. It remains to be seen whether Pokemon Go can capture the popularity it once held. But it makes the top of the list sheerly because there’s nothing else quite like it.
