WhatsApp Message About 'Dance of the Hillary' Virus is FAKE

Since some days, a claim circulating around the internet claiming that a virus called the “Dance of Hillary” will ruin your phone is fake. Yes, you might think that this is real and if that video comes and you open it, you phone will be formatted. Firstly, its a fake news. And why do you think that video will be sent to you. Anyways, lets not go that way.

According to Morning News USA there is no mobile phone virus threat like the one described.

You might be receiving a message like below:
URGENT: Tell all contacts from your list not to accept a video called the dance of the Pope [later Dance of the Hillary]. It is a virus that formats your mobile. Beware it is very dangerous. They announced it today on the radio. Pass on to as many as you can. It was announced on the radio in USA.
But no virus exists. A similar virus hoax story emerged last year, called the “Dance of the Pope.” The rumor claimed that opening the gif or video malware attachment using an app like WhatsApp would cause the person to lose their cell phone data.

If a video of Hillary Clinton dancing is something of interest to you, however, take a look at the video from Clinton’s appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” guest starring internet star and the real winner of the second debate, Ken Bone.

Cheers!!!
