Backup all your Facebook Informaition on Computer

We all are addicted to facebook. Why should we not? It helps us to stay connected with our near and dear ones. We can convey our message to everybody in many ways. writing status on wall uploading images and many other things. Recently it has added the virtual timeline. Its one of the best feature in facebook. But what if your account gets deleted or gets hacked by some frauds. What will you do in this case? All the time you gave in uploading your pics, writing on walls, changing status msgs, etc gets deleted. How will you feel? I know you dont have words to express it.

Then the best thing that you can do is to take backup of your profile. Yes, Facebook itself provides you the option to backup your profile, messages, images, wall and everything. Just follow the steps below:

1. Login to your Facebook account.

2. Click on the Home dropdown and then Account Settings.

3. Below you will see a link that says – Download a copy of your Facebook data

4. Click on the Start My Archive button.
A small notification pops up that basically says that Facebook will send you the download link to the email address associated with your Facebook account when the backup is ready.

5. Facebook does the rest. You can expect to receive a download link in your email account associated with Facebook when the archive is ready for download.

6. Once you receive the mail, click on the link, enter your Facebook password and click on the Download button to download the zip file that has all your Facebook profile data.

The index.html located in the zipped file contains all your Facebook content which you can browse if you want.

Taking backup of your facebook account is what you should do periodically if you are a regular user of it. Its safe and easy to do.
