Lock any Files or Folders without using any Software

Some time back we have discussed some James Bond stuff like, Password Protect Your Secret Notes, Hide Files Inside JPEG Images, and some many more. Today i found something very interesting stuff. Hiding a folder, yes, i know that there's nothing interesting about it. Anyone can hide a folder from the Customize Folder option. Hidden folders do not work as they can be easily searched with Windows Search. But, as i said, this is something different. So, we have found an alternative way to create hidden password protected folders which only we can access. In this you can hide/lock your folder and files without any software. And believe me it really works. There are many softwares available on the internet to do so. But you need to install some s/w. This is not the case here. By using some simple codes we can directly lock any file and folder.

Follow the steps below to do so:


1. Open Notepad.

2. Enter the following code:


"Due to some security reasons m not pasting the code here. Please leave your email Id's in the comment section, i will mail you the code."

3. Click on the File -> Save As.

4. Save the file as *.bat or Locker.bat (you can give any name you want)

After creating the file, when you double click on the batch file, it will create a folder with the name SecretFolder (can be changed in the code). Place all your files and folders that you want to hide in the SecretFolder. Again, double click on the batch file. Type Y/y and press Enter. The folder will be hidden.

To re-view the folder, double click on the same batch file. Enter password as
"houseofinfo.blogspot.com" [without quotes " ", password can be changed from the code ] and press Enter key. This is also the default password. Your folder will be visible again.

for more security purpose delete the batch file after hiding your folder and re-creating it when you wish to access your folder again.
