Deleting Messages from Facebook

Many friends keep sending messages on Facebook. Sometimes we do messages of some advertising. Some of them are very annoying messages. There are chances that many of us chat via messages only for privacy reason. The messages keep storing in our Facebook account. After some days you will see lots of messages. Now the question is how to delete those? Yes there is an option provided by Facebook, by clicking on the small 'x' icon to delete, which is displayed just next to the message. But do you know that after clicking on the 'x' button the message is not deleted but gets stored in the Archive.

This is not the correct way to delete the messages. Follow the steps below:

1. Login to you Facebook account.

2. Select 'Messages' from the left pan.

3. You will see list of messages you have received. Select any one of the message that you wish to delete.

4. Now select Action from the top bar (or an downward arrow button).

5. Select "Delete Message".

Using this way you can delete any Facebook message. You cannot delete all the message at one time. You have to do it one by one.
