Open Any Blocked Website In A Click

Some days back we have seen a post for opening blocked Gmail. I received some comments that some of them are not working on some machines. Also many of the options were for Gmail only. So i found one old technique which i was using in my college days. Using this you can open any blocked website. Some of them were also not working in my office. But this is just superb. It works very well.

A small application which helps us to do so is Ultra Surf. Ultrasurf is a neat Internet privacy protection tool that allows you to surf the web anonymously. Not only that, but using it you can also visit websites that are blocked by your ISP (or if you’re at work blocked by the company).

Ultrasurf works with most major web browsers (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, Chrome, Safari) and is vastly used by those that want to protect their identity online or surpass Internet restrictions. UltraSurf enables users to browse any website freely  while it automatically searches the highest speed proxy servers . During the whole process, all the contents being transferred are highly encrypted; the level of encryption exceeds the secure standard set for financial transaction such as online banking.

How to use UltraSurf:

1. Download UltraSurf here (.EXE format / .Zip format).

2. Run the file. You don't have to install it. It runs directly on your system.

3. After double clicking on the install_ultrasurf.exe, small window will appear on top of the screen.

• At first it will search for the best possible proxy server and then connect to it, as shown below. 
• It contains many buttons on the top like Home, Retry, Option, Help and Exit. All the buttons are easy to understand as the name describe. Using the Option button you can change the default settings.
• It will also open an IE browser, displaying the homepage of the UltraReach.Net.
• By default it takes IE as default browser you can change it from the "Option" tab

4. There are 3 speed bar displayed. Each with some percentage displayed along with the check box. This are the speed it gets to access the Internet. You can choose any one (preferably the one with higher percentage).

5. After successfully connecting to the Internet, it displays a message "Successfully connected to Server".

6. A golden lock icon comes out at the lower right corner of the user’s monitor and will remain there during the whole process when UltraSurf is in operation, indicating you’re now able to unblock websites.

That's it. Now you are ready to open any blocked website anytime.

Things to remember:

1. Once you have run this software it connects to the proxy server. It uses the IP address and port as shown below.

Later if you want to connect back to your default IP, (which people will mostly do in offices), just right click on the Gold icon and select the Close/Exit option from ultrasurf.

There are chances that after exiting from Ultrasurf you wont be able to access the Internet. Each time you open you page you can get the connection error. No worries, just go to Tools -> Internet option -> Connection -> LAN Settings and deselect the "Proxy Server" option.

2. Some high antivirus can interrupt using this application stating as virus. But this not an virus, close your antivirus till the time you use this application.

3. If you have some software installed in your office to keep track of everything you are doing (like in my office), there are chances to track this application. Just change the name of ultrasurf to something which you often use, like, Notepad, Paint, etc.
