Microsoft Play Brings Xbox Live Arcade Games To Windows 8 & Windows RT

Microsoft Studios, released their latest project, the Play gaming service. Its not like the Google's Play Store. Microsoft Play is a gaming platform where Xbox and Windows 8/RT users can buy and play games on multiple devices. There's no need to buy a single game for multiple devices like your Xbox and laptop.

PLAY is an invitation to play games on Windows 8, anywhere, anytime! There’s no new service or branding, just tons of great games that can please not only the casual gamer but the Xbox fans as well! Check out leaderboards, multiplayer modes, and even connect with friends! Currently, it only has 15 games which are available via the Windows Store. The list of these 15 games are as follows:

• Skulls of the Shogun.
• The Gunstringer: Dead Man Running.
• ilomilo+.
• Wordament.
• Toy Soldiers: Cold War.
• Taptiles.
• Rocket Riot 3D.
• Reckless Racing Ultimate.
• Pinball FX2.
• Microsoft Minesweeper.
• Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
• Microsoft Mahjong.
• Hydro Thunder Hurricane.
• Adera.
• 4 Elements II Special Edition.

The list may be not that attractive, but atleast its a start and Microsoft hopes to bring more as soon as possible

 Actually this is a huge step taken by Microsoft. Since Windows 8 comes with a touch feature, it will be great to play such games on them
