Mozilla Reveals It’s Firefox OS Mobile Phone For Developers

Mozilla has revealed the first smartphone to run its Firefox operating system, but you wont be able to buy/use the phone because, its only for the developers. Mozilla announced last summer they would be joining the smartphone OS wars by releasing their very own Firefox OS, which is designed to be licensed by OEMs and eager carriers. The Mozilla Foundation unveiled two preview smartphones as it invited developers to try its new open-source mobile operating system challenging Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.

This is the first phone specially designed to run Firefox operating system. Actually, Firefox OS doesn't requires super high end hardware to offer a quality user experience. For thsi Mozilla collaborated with Telephonica and Geeksphone on the first developers device.

Talking about the specification:
Mozilla launched two phones that comes in Orange (Keon) and white (Peak) with different specifications. Comparing both this phones, The Peak is the more powerful of the two. it has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, larger 1800mAh battery and 4.3″ qHD IPS Multitouch screen. It also has front and rear camera’s, whereas, Keon has only front-facing camera and 1GHz Snapdragon S1 CPU, smaller battery (1580mAh) and 3.5″ HVGA Multitouch screen.

The price is not declared, but lets see what they have in store for us.
