Moving from Messenger To Skype
As we all know that on 8th April 2013, Microsoft will be forcing all the users to upgrade Windows Live Messenger to Skype. Since this is something huge process so Skype blog has said that it will take a few weeks to complete which means you still have time. Skype will help many users to have a user friendly conversation. Many of us know that Skype is easy to use and can be use in many ways.
The conversion has been took place by Microsoft, therefore, it wont be a difficult task to migrate it. You just need to install the app, then sign in with your normal account. The contacts will be automatically migrated. Of course, talking about Skype you wont find some features like games and mail notifications like Messenger. Don't take it for granted that it might be the end of Messenger. You never know what's next.
Follow the steps below to move from Windows Messenger to Skype:
1. Download and install the latest version of Skype.
2. Sign in to Skype with the same Microsoft account that you use with Windows Messenger.
3. If you already have a Skype account, you can merge it with your Microsoft account. Be careful to merge the correct accounts.
4. You're ready to chat and make some video calls.
Cheers!!!
