We all know that Google has finally launched nexus 5 smartphone in India. Like the Nexus 4, there was not so much controversies deciding on the launch of Nexus 5. Nexus 5 available on the Play Store with the price tag of 28,999 INR for 16GB and 32,999 INR for 32GB. Nexus 5 is very much known for its design, best of Google, Speed, Display and many such more. But there is something you should know before you buy this gadget.
Following are the 6 things that you should consider before buying Nexus 5 in India:
1. Only Credit Cards Please:
If you want to buy Nexus 5 from Google Store, you will require Credit Card. Google is selling the Nexus 5 from its Play Store marketplace in India at Rs 28,999 (16GB) and Rs 32,999 (32GB).
2. No EMI:
You will not get EMI option if you purchase Nexus 5 from Google Play Store and will have to contact the credit card company to convert the amount into installments. However, retailers are providing EMI scheme for the same phone.
3. 32GB Model Only:
If 16GB model is too less for you and you opt for 32GB, then you have to buy it from the Play Store. The higher-end model is not as widely available in stock currently and will reportedly get wider retail availability by the end of November.
4. Extra Cost:
While Google has priced Nexus 5’s 16 and 32GB variants at Rs 28,999 and Rs 32,999, retailers are charging an extra Rs 1,000 for the same. The extra charge is said to be due to added retail-related costs.
5. Accessories:
If you want accessories for the Nexus 5, you can hit Play Store for some official merchandise. The bumper case for the phone is available in black, grey, red and yellow colours on Google’s online marketplace for Rs 2,499. LG-made QuickCover (flip cover), sold in white and black colour options, can soon be purchased for Rs 3,299.
6. No Head-Phones:
Google does not provide earphones for free with its smartphones and the same applies to Nexus 5. Therefore, get ready to shell out a few bucks for a new set of headphones if you are buying the latest Google phone, or at least don’t throw away the ones you use right now.
