Micromax Canvas Gold A300 Launched With Octa-Core Processor
Its Micromax again. It seems like the Micromax has taken very seriously on launching new flagship every month. In February, Micromax launched Canvas Turbo A250, then in April they came up with Canvas Knight, which is equipped with very good config. But it seems they are not going to stop. This time Micromax came up with another flagship smartphone called "Canvas Gold".
The Micromax Canvas Gold A300 is very much close to Canvas Knight when it comes to specification. Unlike Canvas Knight, Canvas Gold is also equipped with Octa-Core SoC and Android KitKat OS. Micromax Canvas Gold A300 is now up for sale on major online retailers for Rs. 24,000 and is the most expensive phone from Micromax ever.
Talking about the specs, Micromax Canvas Gold A300 is a dual SIM device which sports a 5.5 inch full HD display (1080×1920 resolution). This device is powered by an octa core processor clocked at 2 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The chipset is unspecified as of now but it is expected to be a MediaTek one as found in most of the Micromax smartphones. This smartphone will run on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and becomes the fourth Micromax smartphone after Unite 2, Canvas Entice, Canvas Engage to run it. It has 32 GB of in built storage, while there is no official word about the expandability.
This device has of 16 mega pixel rear auto focus camera which represents highest pixel count ever found on a Micromax smartphone.Whereas, on the front it consists of a 5 mega pixel camera.
Connectivity features include GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 and a 2300mAh Li-Po battery rated to deliver 8 hours of talk time and 210 hours of standby time. The phone is quite slim as 6.9 mm and it has aluminium sides which reminds us of Canvas Knight and turbo.
It has a non removable back cover which exactly resembles Canvas Turbo‘s back. You will find rubberized enclosures on the top as well as bottom for antennae.
Cheers!!!
