Acer One 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 Device Launched at Rs. 21,999

We have talked a lot about smartphone and new releases. Lets talk about tablet notebook. a tablet that is combined with notebook has been in news and is been launched by Acer recently. Acer has unveiled the Acer One 2-in-1, which is a tablet and a notebook combined in one. Available exclusively via Amazon India, and also known as Acer One S1001, the Windows-based hybrid has been given a limited period price of Rs. 19,999 for the 1GB of RAM (DDR3L) model, and Rs. 21,999 for the 2GB of RAM (DDR3L) model.


The best thing about the compact and portable device is that it features a detachable screen and can be used in 4 modes: notebook, tablet, display and tent. The tablet ships with a bundled keyboard with an integrated 500GB hard disk drive that attaches to the tablet display via magnetic Acer Snap Hinge. The Display mode can be used to broadcast a video conference or sharing photos and movies while the Tent mode of the device makes it apt to be used in a narrow space.

The Acer One sports a 10-inch HD(1280x800p) multi-touch display (with 10 point touch). It runs Windows 8.1 OS. It is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3735F processor (2MB cache, 1.3GHz base frequency, 1.8GHz burst frequency, 4 cores, 4 threads) coupled with Intel HD Graphics integrated GPU. Acer One is available with 1GB and 2GB DDR3 RAM options.


The tablet offers 32GB storage along with a microSD card slot. The tablet sports a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. The laptop-tablet hybrid features a 6000mAh battery with a power-saving feature named InstantGo is also included. The feature is claimed to let the laptop use 5 percent of the battery in 16 hours. Connectivity options include 2xUSB2.0 ports, 1xHDMI port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.0.
