Samsung Galaxy A7 Launched at Rs 30,499

Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone Galaxy A7. The metal smartphone was launched globally in the last month, which has now reached the Indian store. The phone in India is launching at Rs. 30,499. The phone is available online at the company's official India e-Store in white, gold and black colours but only the white variant is in stock at the moment. It is the slimmest Samsung smartphone to hit stores. It measures just 6.3 mm in thickness and flaunts uni-body design with premium metal laced around its edges like we see in the flagship Galaxy Alpha series.


Talking about the phone, it flaunts a 5.5-inch Super-AMOLED display with a full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Indian version of the smartphone features 2GB RAM and a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which includes four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.0GHz.


The Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung offers Wide Selfie, Rear-cam Selfie, Beauty Face and other camera features, similar to other recently launched Samsung models. Like the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A7 also flaunts and 'Ultra Wide Shot' and 'Auto Selfie' modes for its front-facing camera.


Internal storage includes 16GB which can be expanded by up to 64GB via microSD card. Besides 16GB of inbuilt storage, the Samsung Galaxy A7 supports expandability via microSD card (up to 64GB), with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 4G LTE Cat. 4, USB 2.0, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, and NFC comprising the smartphone's connectivity options.
