Intex Aqua Twist With Rotating Camera Announced For Rs 5,199
Intex has again tried to provide the best smartphone with new improved feature. Earlier, iBall launched the Andi Avonote 5 that features an innovative 8MP 180-degree rotating camera at an affordable price tag of Rs. 5,999. Today, the domestic smartphone maker, Intex has released a pocket-friendly camera-centric smartphone called as Intex Aqua Twist priced at Rs. 5,199, the Intex Aqua Twist is now listed on the company's site and can be expected to be made available in the market soon.
One of the biggest highlights of the Intex Aqua Twist is it sports a 5-megapixel rotating camera, a feature that has been seen in some mid-range smartphones. The rotating feature allows the camera to be used both as a rear as well as a front-facing camera.
The Aqua Twist flaunts a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display with 189ppi as pixel density, and Gorilla Glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek MT6580m quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes essential connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and lacks 4G-LTE support. The device comes with 8GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB.
The main USP of the smartphone is its camera; it sports a 5MP twist camera with OmniVision OV5648 sensor and LED flash that can be used as both primary/secondary shooter to capture all the beautiful moments. The handset comes backed by a 2200mAh battery that can last upto 18 hours of talk time and upto 275 hours of standby time.
The smartphone also comes with smart iData Saver that control’s the data consumption upto 50%. The device looks stylish in hand with textured finish back panel and is available in Black and White color variants. The dimensions of the handset measure 144 x 72 x 8.4 mm and weighs around 175 grams.
