When Are Samsung Galaxy Series Smartphone Receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow

This post will be for all Samsung Galaxy user. As we all know Moto has already started receiving Android Marshmallow 6.0 update. Now its Samsung's turn. Some of the Samsung's smartphones already started receiving this update. Smartphones like Galaxy S6 and s6 Edge are updated to Android 6.0. Along with this they also received the improved version of TouchWiz.

But many of you must be using other Galaxy smartphone so you might not be knowing the time when you will be receiving the update. As per the information received from the PhoneArena, Samsung phones should get updated to Android 6 by the end of March 2016, while last year's top Samsung phones will get updated in April and May.

Samsung is even planning to update the Galaxy Alpha, a device released in late 2014, with the update for it coming in June 2016. To know the full list of smartphone of when they will be receiving the update, see the below details;

Next on line are devices that are not considered flagships, but will still get the Android 6 update. The list only mentions one such phone, but the list is likely a bit longer than that:

• Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) and others

With the Galaxy A7 (2016) listed for update, it's reasonable to expect the Galaxy A5 (2016), and other mid-rangers to get updated to Android 6 this summer.
