Samsung Galaxy K Zoom With 20 MP Camera Launched
We all know about Samsung Galaxy Camera, its first camera centric smartphone. The phone didn't did well in the smartphone market. But after almost a year later, Samsung came up with a another smartphone keeping the camera in mind. Samsung has announced, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom smartphone with 20.7 MP However, the phone had failed to attract enough buyers. The Galaxy K zoom looks like a digital camera with its retractable lens but offers all the features that you would expect in a smartphone.
It has a 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash and expected to captures pictures and videos in Full HD. As per Samsung, it can capture crisp and sharp images, even when zoomed and in low light. In addition, the device has a Xenon Flash which claimed to provide "a brighter light than LEDs". In the front, the phone has a 2 megapixel unit as well.
The Galaxy K zoom runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The new camera-centric smartphone is powered by a hexa-core processor (a quad-core 1.3GHz and a dual-core 1.7GHz), though the company has not revealed the exact chipset, currently thought to be the Exynos 5 Hexa SoC coupled with a Mali-T264 GPU. But we expect the Galaxy K zoom is powered by the same chipset seen first in Galaxy Note 3 Neo, the Exynos 5260.
Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, and a 2430mAh battery. The Galaxy K zoom will be available in two variants - LTE and 3G - while other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and NFC.
It weighs 200 grams. It has AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation), Pro Suggest with 5 optimized filter settings, Selfie Alarm to take timed selfies, object tracing and more. Other features include, Ultra Power Saving Mode, S Health Lite, Studio app and more. As you can see, the phone has voice calling capabilities as well, similar to the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
