Disable Auto Download of Audio, Video & Images on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is one of the most used messenger service. There are millions of users who use WhatsApp and transfer millions of data everyday. This data comes in form of images, videos and audios. So if you are having many friends and are connected to many groups then your gallery will flooded with lots of images and videos and audios. Most of them are repeated one. Also, by default WhatsApp has put all this services to Auto Download, which will indirectly affect your storage space. WhatsApp makes it quicker and easier to send text, photos, videos and audios.
But now you can save your storage space and can avoide downloading of repeated media. You do not need any special pemission or any external app. WhatsApp itself has provided us with an options to download the media files. Its all up to you. You have to decide whether you want audio, video and image to be downloaded automatically when connected to mobile data, Wi-Fi or when roaming.

1. Open WhatsApp on your Android device.
2. Go to Options and select Settings.
3. Select Settings -> Chat Settings -> Meda auto-download.
4. Tap on ‘When using mobile data’, and uncheck all media options (for saving data)
5. Tap on ‘When connected on Wi-Fi’ and ‘When roaming’, and disable media options that you do not need.
