Xiaomi Mi3 With 5-Inch Display, Snapdragon 800 SoC Launched at Rs. 14,999
After many Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi also started launching their very good smartphones in India. Recently, Xiaomi launched Mi 3 smartphone. Its been said that its a rival of Nexus 5. But if compared to the price, Mi 3 comes at a price of 14,999 INR only. The smartphone, currently listed on the company's India website only, will be available for sale on July 15.
The all-new Mi 3 has a 5-inch Full HD display and runs on a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It is powered by Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Xiaomi's proprietary MIUI skin on top. It packs 16GB internal storage, but does not support storage expansion via microSD cards. Xiaomi has become one of the first handset manufacturers to offer an Android smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset below the sub-Rs. 15,000 mark.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera featuring a f/2.2 aperture and dual-LED flash while the front houses a 2-megapixel camera. Connectivity suite of the smartphone consists of 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. It has a 3,050mAh battery, and Xiaomi claims that the smartphone can deliver talk time of up to 21 hours on 3G networks.
Made of aluminium-magnesium alloy, this smartphone weighs 145gram and is 8.1mm thick. The smartphone will come with Xiaomi's Mi Cloud service, which will allow users to save and access their contacts, messages, photos, notes and call logs online. They will also be able to back up apps in the cloud and locate the handset online in case it is lost.
Along with the smartphone, Xiaomi has listed two power banks with 10,400mAh and 5,200mAh battery capacities on its website. However, it has not revealed the prices of the two products.
