Lock Google Chrome With Password
Among all the web browsers, Google Chrome is the mostly used web browser. Firstly, it was only IE (Internet Explorer), then many web browsers were available online. 1. Open Google Chrome and type "chrome://flags" in the url and press "Enter". You will see list of options that you can use for different features.
2. Search for "Enable New Profile Management System” option from the list.
3. Click the “Enable” option in that list and you will get a “Default Pridentify the songsofile” button on the top of your Window to create new user accounts.
Note: All the user accounts can be created using a Gmail ID and any one of the account can be made as default using “Not Default Profile?” option in that window
4. To lock your profile with a password, click the “Not Default Profile?” option and you will get a window to set a password, just select the profile and you will get a text box to type the password.
5. After you set a password, every time you move out of your desk, just click the “Lock” icon in that pop-up window on the top.
So, all your tabs, settings, extensions, etc., will be saved and other users cannot see or use them without your password. They can either log in to their account or browse as a guest in the same browser.
This is really a good app. You dont have to install any third party app or extension. This default option will let you protect your privacy and data. People who use multiple Gmail accounts, can maintain different profiles on Chrome for personal and official use.
