LG Stylus 2 Plus Launched: Specification, Price & Availability

LG Electronics India Ltd on Thursday announced the launch of its latest smartphone Stylus 2 Plus in India. As the name suggests, the new LG phone is an advanced version Stylus 2, which was released in May in India. It comes with major upgrades in four aspects such as display resolution, SoC (System-on-Chip), primary camera and RAM capacity.

The Stylus 2 Plus has almost same specs when compared to the original LG Stylus 2. The main enhancement has been made with the pen having a nano-coated tip which will offer more accuracy compared to the previous rubber-tipped pen seen on the LG G4 Stylus.

The LG Stylus 2 Plus features a 5.7-inch In-Cell display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz ocIta-core processor. The LG Stylus 2 Plus variant launched in India sports a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 200GB). The variant sports a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, both of which sport LED flash modules.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based LG Stylus 2 Plus is backed by a 3000mAh removable battery and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, and 2G connectivity options. Some of the other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB. It measures 155x79.6x7.4mm and weighs 145 grams.

The highlight of LG's new phone is its Stylus functionality. It comes with dedicated features such as Pen Pop, which gives easy access to all the pen functions, Pop Scanner, a picture editing tool, Screen-Off Memo, which allows users to write Memos on phone screen without having to wake up the phone, Pen Keeper, that alerts the user when they forget to place the stylus back after use and many more.

According to a tweet posted by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone will be soon launched in India at a price of Rs 25,990. It will come in Titan, Gold and Brown colour options.

Cheers!!!
