Indian Premier League (IPL) 6: Auction 2013

IPL 2013 auction date was discussed in by the IPL council. It would be held on the 3rd February 2013 in Chennai starting at 11 am. Sony Six tv channel is the official ipl auction live streaming 2013 broadcast provider in India.

Recently, on 3rd Feb, IPL 6 auctions were held in Chennai. The Indian Premier League announced the list of 101 players who will go under the ipl player auction this season. Glenn Maxwell, the Australian all rounder is the costliest star with Mumbai Indians capturing him for Rs. 5.31 crores ($1,000,000).

You must be surprised to see some of them who were a a bit shocking but to shock more, many of the players were not bought by any of the team. Its been seen that due to the rule of "no more than 11 foreign players in the squad and maximum 4 foreign players should be in the playing eleven" and the base money can be the reason the teams omitted them.
