Have you ever lost your Wi-Fi password? This can happen that you lost your Wi-Fi password while you are already connected to your Wi-Fi network. Or say that you have format your PC and you need the password. You may also require the password to connect other wireless devices to your WiFi network. For employees, like me, working in some IT companies you may not know the password your Wi-Fi.
But now it will be easy to retrieve the password of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to.
Follow the steps below to retrieve your Wi-Fi password:
Note: I assume that you are already connected to your Wi-Fi network
1. Right click on your Wi-Fi network in the taskbar and select the option, Open Network and Sharing Center.
2. In the View your active Networks, look for your Wi-Fi connection, and click on the Wireless Network Connection (your network name)
3. Then a window will popup, click on the "Wireless Properties" button.
4. Now click on the "Security" tab from the Wireless Network Properties window.
5. Now just select the checkbox "Show Characters".
6. That's your Wi-Fi password.
This way you can retrieve your password of your Wi-Fi network. Make sure you don't use it to break any of your legal rules, specially in your company. You yourself will be responsible for any outcome.
