Send & Share Files Up To 1TB For Free
Many times we would like to send some important documents to friends or colleagues We go to internet search for some sites which can let us send files online. But the only limitations that we always face is the SIZE. Yes ofcourse, you have an option for cloud storage. But it has some regulations and rules that needed to be followed.
The media that we deal with nowadays are so heavy and big that there will be a day when are in need to send to send fiels of size 1TB. Keeping this in mind, SoShare came up with a solution. SoShare, a site powered by BitTorrent now offers you the option to send files up to 1TB in size. That’s 1024 Gigabytes. You don’t need an account and it is completely free to use now during its open beta phase.
How to send files using SoShare:
1. Go to SoShare website.
2. Download and install the SoShare for your browser, first.
Note: SoShare works for Chrome, Safari, Firefox & IE.
3. Now just enter your email address and your senders email address.
Note: You can also sen the files to more than 1 receipient by placing commas after every email addresses
4. Click on the Add files and start uploading the files you want to share.
While testing this feature, i found that, yes, it can upload files upto 1TB, but the size can matter in uploading the files. The bigger the file is the longer the time it needs for the upload. Ofcourse, speed depends on your internet connections. However, you can pause the download and resume where you left off later.
With SoShare your files will only be available for download for 30 days (1 TB is a lot) but it is a simple, disposable and great way of sending multiple heavy files in one go. It also has the option for you to make your files available to the public. Do keep in mind that SoShare is still in beta, so there might be more changes brewing behind the scenes.
