HTC One Mini Announced
HTC One was one of the best flagship android phone that HTC has launched in conpetition of Xperia Z. Both the phones are made their mark in the Android market. Therefore, HTC came up the mini version of HTC One, known as HTC One Mini. The HTC One Mini brings the same design language but in a smaller package and there are some compromises in terms of specs. The phone will hit stores in August, according to the company.
Talking about the phone, the display has 1280 x 720 pixel resolution on a 4.3-inch display which is quite good. The pixel density is not sky-high like the HTC One, but 341 ppi not makes much difference. It’s still the same brilliant SuperLCD3 we saw in the One, so there’s no doubt about its quality.
HTC One Mini is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.4GHz and HTC Sense 5.0 - the same version which appears on the HTC One. There's 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM, but no microSD card slot. It seems that the RAM is a bit slow, but it has 2 Krait cores, which takes care of the low RAM and make its safe from being crack.
It has a 1/3" UltraPixel sensor with 4MP resolution (16:9 aspect ratio). UltraPixel refers to the larger than usual pixels on the sensor - 2 microns on a side, bigger than the standard 1.4 micron and 1.1 micron pixels in most other cameras. The camera on the HTC One mini uses the same ImageChip 2 as the big One. This chip handles a lot of the special processing needed by the camera (so the less powerful chipset shouldn't matter), including recording 3 second videos each time you take a photo in Zoe mode. These videos are stitched into cool 30 second Video highlights. The chip also records what is necessary for the Always Smile and Object Removal options.
HTC One Mini: Full Camera Specs:
The Mini clearly is a derivation of the One and the front face of both phones are nearly identical (barring the display size, of course). Even here, HTC has stereo speakers above and below the screen. Like the HTC One, the One Mini features HTC BoomSound, comprising two speakers on the front to provide the biggest and best sound available BeatsAudio also comes as standard to boost the sound quality.
The edges of the phone have a slight gloss to them, which is more prominent in the white version. However, the back is aluminium. The HTC One Mini is available in 'Glacial Silver' and 'Stealth Black', but keeps the same aluminium unibody as the original HTC One.
In true HTC fashion, the battery of the One Mini is not removable. Making matters worse is the relatively small 1800 mAh battery, which could prove to be its biggest downfall.

Availability & Price:
The HTC One Mini will launch in selected countries in August, and will be available in silver and black color options. HTC isn't offering any specific info on pricing just yet, but the company told us that it intends to sell the Mini at "two price points below" that of the HTC One.
Cheers!!!
