Get IMEI of Your Lost or Stolen Android Phone

How many phones have you lost till date? I have lost 2 of my most favourite phones. No matter how the phone lost or got stolen, you are always worried about the data you have in your phone. This can put you on risk. Because the smart phone are something in which we store all our personal, business information.

The first step that everyone should follow, when you loose your phone or get stolen, is to contact the service provider and provide them the IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) number. This can help in either tracing your phone or blocking it immediately.

Most of the times we forget the IMEI number or don't remember where we have stored it. Even the IMEI number is mentioned on the phone box or on the bill, we always forget where we have kept them. Therefore this post will help you finding your IMEI number of your lost Android phone.

Follow the steps below:

1. Login to your Gmail account on your PC (the Gmail account that is connected with your Android phone)

2. Go to the link https://www.google.com/settings/dashboard and click “Android

3. You can see you phone’s IMEI number listed there.

Other ways to finding IMEI number:

i. Look for the bill of the phone you bought. It has IMEI number mentioned on it.

ii. Look for the box that had your phone. It should have the IMEI printed.

iii. If your phone is not stolen or lost and you want to store or save the IMEI number of your phone, just type, *#06#. The IMEI number will be displayed on your phone screen.

iv. Look under your mobile phone’s battery. There should be a sticker printed with IMEI.

This way you can try to avoid any risk after loosing your phone or if your phone gets stolen.

Cheers!!!
