Send 30GB Of Files As Attachment In A Single Email
Email applications are used for sending mails. This can be any imnportant mail or a general conversation mail. But along with this, the emails can also be used for sending attachments. Any important documents or images or any application (.exe, .zip, etc). But many times we face an issue of size of the attachment. You wont be able to send any file which is more in size. What if you get an option of sending file more than 1 GB? or more than 5 GB? or say more than 15 GB? Or may be more than 25 GB? Yes, it is now possible. Thanks to FileMail which lets you send large files (up to 30GB) using your email id.
It is very simple and easy to understand as it is similar to all the web based email services. The best thing about this site is that you don’t need to register or sign up with any social accounts. All you have to do is to go to FailMail site, and send away the attachment in email. Filemail has both free and premium accounts. The Premium account user has no limit to send the file whereas the Free user as an limit of 30GB.
When you visit the FileMail website, you will see some fields in which you just have to enter your email id, recipient details, subject and body of the message. Once you complete it, add files and send the email. It then asks for the Transfer Options. Then at the top you will see the progress of the mail.
As seen in the above attachment, i tried sending the mail which has an files of around 1.9 GB. Since the size was too uch it showed total of 4 hours remaining for the send the mail.
The free user option is available only for personal use. For commercial purposes, you need to purchase a premium account. If you want to track your file transactions, you need to create an account. Free user account comes with a 7-day trial option.
But creating an account can be agood option in case you want to track the delivery status and keep the files in your account for a month. For premium accounts, it lets you keep the important files till you delete the account. The person on the other end will receive a mail with the file downloading link. Just like other cloud services, you can securely transfer the files with the help of private links. Also it lets you add the FileMail plugin to Email clients like Outlook, etc., to transfer large files from your computer.
